The Packers are suffering at the CB position as they gave up big bombs left and right last year. Sam Shields, the Packers best CB, is no longer with the team after he had concussion issues last year. So the Packers do something about the CB position, picking Cordrea Tankersley.

Tankersley is a physical, bump-and-run CB, just like they love them up there in Green Bay. He’s a potential shutdown guy that takes away the opposing team’s best WR, following him around the field. Tankersley would make a big difference on that Packers defense immediately.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers amazingly willed his team into the playoffs last year. But they only went so far because Rodgers didn’t get the help he deserves from his defense. When you look at the front-seven of the Packers defense, it really isn’t bad.

Nick Perry and Clay Matthews will be coming off the edges as Julius Peppers went back to the Panthers. NT Kenny Clark and DE Mike Daniels are an important part of that front-seven too. Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix and Morgan Burnett are strong on the back end of that defense.
