CB. Ohio State. Marshon Lattimore. 6. player. 30. There’s been a lot of talk about the New York Jets drafting a QB at No. 6 overall. But in time, they will see that the Jets have a young gun that will get there in Christian Hackenberg. They signed veteran Josh McCown just in case Hackenberg isn’t quite ready for the big-time yet.
The Jets let WR Brandon Marshall go but they like the way Quincy Enunwa came along in 2016. Bilal Powell started to run the ball very well last year too so the offense will get there. If Hackenberg earns the job and starts balling in 2017, the team will improve overall by a lot.

But the fastest way for this team to make significant progress is to shut teams down on defense. But to do that, it is important that they make up for the loss of CB Darrelle Revis. HC Todd Bowles is a defensive guy and blitzing and man coverage are a huge part of his scheme.

So here at No. 6 overall, the Jets select potential shutdown CB Marshon Lattimore out of Ohio State. He has the man-press skills to possibly have his own island out there in New York. If there’s a guy in this draft capable of replacing a guy like Revis in this draft. it’s Lattimore.
