Jamal Adams. 7. player. 13. The Los Angeles Chargers are going to be just fine on offense as they will be fully loaded. QB Philip Rivers will get WR Keenan Allen Back and RB Melvin Gordon looks like he’ll be the guy. And for good measure, the Chargers brought in left OT Russell Okung to take the place of King Dunlap.
If they could solve their problems on the defensive side of the ball, they’ll go to the playoffs. They couldn’t put games away last year because they had a lot of injuries at the CB position. But they’ll be healthy at CB in 2017 plus they have pass-rushers Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa.

The team also misses do-it-all, playmaking S Eric Weddle, who now plays for the Baltimore Ravens. So here at No. 7 overall, the Chargers take Jamal Adams, who offers that same type of skill set. Adams is as versatile as they come with the ability to play single-high, in the box, the slot or outside.

And he makes plays from every one of those position just like Weddle did for them when he was there. Remember, the Chargers lost a lot of close games because the defense couldn’t hold onto leads. So this team could shoot up the standings after making this pick to improve their defense.
. S. LSU
