53. Corey Davis looks like he’s the best route-running, most complete WR in the 2017 draft class. At 6’3,”, 209 he’s perfectly capable of bodying up on a CB, shielding him away and making the catch. His size, length and hops also allow him to go up and get those 50-50 balls when they come.

Davis won’t do any physical testing this offseason because of an injury but his tape is good enough. It’s pretty rare these days to find a WR that can make contested catches and get separation. And that’s why I have Davis as the first WR to go off the board in the 2017 NFL Draft.

He is the all-time leader in major college football history in receiving yards with 5,285 yards. The Cleveland Browns can use him here at No. 12 overall as they lost Terrelle Pryor in free agency. I guess we’ll see what 2016 first-round pick Corey Coleman will do in Year 2 as Year 1 wasn’t pretty.

There is no need for the Browns to reach for one of the QBs this draft class has to offer. They might as well load the wagon and see if Brock Osweiler is that bad or a bad fit in Houston. They should improve in 2017 just on what they’ve done for the defense and the O-line.
. WR. Western Michigan. Corey Davis. 12. player
