OG. Indiana. Dan Feeney. 31. player. 44. Dan Feeney is another guy whose value seems to have dropped a bit since the offseason started. I’m not sure why but his value might have dropped after Lamp was looked at as a OG prospect. But he’s an excellent OG that fits in perfectly in the zone blocking-scheme.

He’s smaller at 6’4″, 305 pounds and has the quickness to get to the second level in the run game. He’s also a great pass protector, useful for the quicker DTs or DEs kicking inside on third down. So a zone-blocking team that throws the ball a lot would love to have him.

And that team right here at No. 31 overall is the Atlanta Falcons, who just lost Chris Chester to retirement. Whatever needs the Falcons may have in other areas can wait because protecting QB Matt Ryan comes first. The Falcons certainly won’t get back to the Super Bowl if he’s not healthy.

Speaking of healthy, the team will be getting CB Desmond Trufant back for the 2017 season. He just might have helped prevent the 25-point comeback the Patriots hung up on them a few months ago. With a healthy team, the Falcons are still in the fight to go to the Super Bowl again.
