CB. Ohio State. Gareon Conley. 32. player. 15. Gareon Conley is one of those guys that has risen up draft boards pretty quickly this offseason. That’s because he’s the guy that you can’t help but see when you’re watching Lattimore on the other side. Opposing QBs had to go to his side at times with Lattimore locking his side down.
And Conley only allowed opposing QBs to complete passes to his side 37 percent of time. That’s because he can cover any way you need him to from man-press, off-man to zone and excel. At 6’0″, 200 pounds and 33-inch-long arms, he has the size, length and physicality for man-press.

He also has the instincts for zone and the movement skills to play off-man coverage. And at the combine, he ran a 4.44 40 to show he has the makeup speed to catch up when beaten. As of right now, the New Orleans Saints don’t look like they’ll get CB Malcolm Butler.

So they have to do something about the position and Conley is a good solution at No. 32 overall. Getting Barnett at No. 11 overall then Conley here makes a good haul for the Saints in Round 1. They can make things difficult in the NFC South for the Falcons of they get the defense together.
