Miami. David Njoku. 22. player. 59. Former Miami TE David Njoku is a little raw but will be a heck of a weapon in the NFL. He will help the team that picks him right away as a vertical TE that makes plays down the field. After running a 4.64 at the NFL Scouting Combine, Njoku ran in the 4.4s at his Pro Day.

So he’s a blazer that’s way too fast for LBs and at 6’4″ 246 pounds, he’s too big for DBs. He’s more of a move TE that is not yet strong enough for the blocking responsibilities of an in-line TE. But his size and speed combination with his 37.5-inch vertical are too much too pass up.

Njoku would thrive immediately by staying at home in Miami with the weapons they have there. You can’t take him away along with WRs DeVante Parker, Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills at the same time. So when Bill Belichick and the Patriots take something away, something will open up.

QB Ryan Tannehill looks like he’s figuring things out and RB Jay Ajayi has emerged as a top ball carrier. The Dolphins addressed their defensive front-seven at LB and on the DL and can get a CB later. The Patriots are the Patriots but this Dolphins team wouldn’t be an easy out for them.
. TE
