28. Former Temple DE Haason Reddick has taken a twisty, windy journey to the NFL. He walked on as a CB then ate his way to DE and played very well at the position. But at 6’1″, 237 pounds, he’s a little light in the booty to be a DE in the NFL.
So at the 2017 Senior Bowl., he was asked to play ILB and he was a natural at it. He showed he has the instincts to diagnose plays and use his great speed to chase the ball down. He also showed he still has those CB hips that allow him to stay RBs and TEs.
<div class=. ILB. Then at the 2017 Scouting Combine he showed his speed is legit, running a 4.52 in the 40. So the buzz around him grew and he went from a mid-round to a first-round prospect. Reddicks story and what he brings on the field makes him a perfect fit for the Oakland Raiders.

An ILB that can play the run, hit, and cover with great character to lead the defense is perfect. The Raiders defense, which wasn’t bad after their horrible start last year, will be even better. And while QB Derek Carr leads an explosive offense, the Raiders will be contenders.
