123. I was surprised to see former USC CB/KR Adoree Jackson ran a 4.42 40 at the combine. I expected at least a 4.3 but he didn’t do that or take another crack at his Pro Day. Sometimes, when people know they’re fast, they go ahead and take a passable number, even when they can do better.
On the football field, he showed his blazing speed, catching guys from behind that run in the 4.4s. He’s even sagged off his man to bait the opposing QB then closed on him for the INT. No, he’s not Deion Sanders, who did that in the NFL but that shows you how fast he is.

To go with that speed, he has excellent movement skills and the ball skills to consistently get those INTs. He’s also a threat to take that INT to the house with the return skills he has. He adds more value in the return game as a flashy four-down player that can flip the field or score.

The Dallas Cowboys love all the flash and dash and have a big-time need at CB. They let darn-near all of their CBs go in free agency with the intention of reloading in this deep class. If the Cowboys can get their edge rushers back in 2017, they have a shot at improving on 2016.
. CB. USC. Adoree Jackson. 28. player
