player. 44. Former Michigan DE Taco Charlton doesn’t have elite burst but he’s still a solid prospect. He’s 6’6″, 277 pounds and has 34 1/4-inch-long arms to keep opposing OT off him. He’s also powerful with a solid bull rush and stays low to play the run very well. <p>He is the perfect candidate to play the base 4-3 DE, where your longer, more powerful DEs play. But he can get after the QB, ranking third in pass-rush productivity among all the prospects in 2016. His length, leverage and hand usage will help him have an immediate impact in the NFL.</p> <p>The Atlanta Falcons could use him on the other side of Vic Beasley to help him get after opposing QBs. They need more than just Beasley if they’re going to consistently disrupt the pocket. In the Super Bowl the Patriots took advantage of the inconsistent rush in the second half.</p> <p>Charlton has versatility too, able to kick inside, outmaneuver the big OGs and rush the passer. QB Matt Ryan and that explosive offense are still there so they will score with the best of them. But they have to find a way to stop teams from erasing the leads the offense goes out and gets. </p>.
