26. Seattle Seahawks- Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama
Seattle’s offensive line has been a complete mess for the past several seasons. They continue to try an patch together a complete unit but it has taken its toll on Russell Wilson. The Seahawks have a lot of money invested in Wilson and need to ensure his success.
27. Kansas City Chiefs- Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
FanSided
The Chiefs need to find a long-term replacement for Jamaal Charles. They have some solid runners on the roster but none have Charles’ big-play ability. Dalvin Cook has the burst that makes him a threat to score very time he touches the ball.
28. Dallas Cowboys- Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama
This draft needs to be all about defense for the Dallas Cowboys. They have holes at every level and should just target the best defender on their board. Marlon Humphrey is a top-end athlete who is quickly developing into a stud cover man.
29. Green Bay Packers- Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
The Packers need to consider adding help in the secondary after the way Julio Jones torched them in the playoffs last year. A big-bodied cornerback like Cordrea Tankersley would be an ideal pick because of his size.
He’d give the Packers someone with the height and strength needed to slow down a player like Jones.
30. Pittsburgh Steelers- Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech
Ben Roethlisberger will be back for another season, but the fact remains he’s on the back end of his career. The Pittsburgh Steelers need to start considering a long-term replacement for their franchise quarterback.
Patrick Mahomes needs time to develop and would greatly benefit from watching Big Ben operate. Mahomes reminds me of a younger Roethlisberger with his big arm, size and athleticism.
31. Atlanta Falcons- David Njoku, TE, Miami
David Njoku would represent a luxury pick for the Atlanta Falcons. However, his potential might be too hard to pass up for a team with limited needs. Njoku would give Atlanta the ability to create a ton of mismatches.
No defense would have the size to effectively cover Njoku, Julio Jones and Austin Hooper.
32. New Orleans Saints (NE)- Jabrill Peppers, DB, Michigan
Jabrill Peppers is a man without a clear position but a great enough athlete to warrant a 1st round pick. The Saints need playmakers on defense and could move Peppers around the field to find where he fits best. Personally, I still feel he has upside at cornerback where he played early in his college career.
