The Philadelphia Eagles are able to address several of their top needs in my updated Philadelphia Eagles 2017 NFL Mock Draft.

Despite their late season collapse, the Philadelphia Eagles are a team on the rise. This Philadelphia Eagles 2017 NFL Mock Draft provides them with some of the pieces needed to keep that process moving in the right direction.

Philadelphia is a team with two very obvious needs that must be addressed early in the draft. They are painfully thin at the cornerback position and need an every-down running back. Luckily, the 2017 NFL Draft is rich at both positions.

The Eagles are in a situation where they can sit back and wait to see who falls to them at pick No. 14 overall. However, they can also be aggressive and try to land a top-10 prospect like LSU’s Leonard Fournette or Ohio State’s Marshon Lattimore.

Orchestrating a trade is only an option because Philadelphia was able to recoup a lot of the draft capital they used to land Carson Wentz. The decision to move up in the draft might rely on whether or not the Eagles feel they are one or two players away from contention.

It could also come down to how they value each available prospect. Do they rate Fournette much higher than someone like Christian McCaffrey?
