The Chicago Bears find a way to make some significant upgrades in my updated Chicago Bears 2017 NFL Mock Draft.

This latest version of my Chicago Bears 2017 NFL Mock Draft features some changes. It has them grabbing a defensive back with their 1st round pick and addressing some offensive needs later in the draft.

Chicago is in a unique spot in the 1st round because nobody knows what the Cleveland Browns or San Francisco 49ers are going to do with their picks. It’s possible they both select a quarterback leaving the Bears a chance to add Myles Garrett.

They could also trade down allowing another team to jump ahead of the Bears to land one of their targets. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that Chicago is a team in the rebuilding process. They have enough needs on the roster that they should be able to add a player that fits both in terms of value and needs.

It might actually be in their best interest to find a trade partner and move down the draft. Their biggest needs are in the secondary which is a strong suit of this class. They could even move outside the top-10 and still land an impact cornerback.
