4th Round (No. 111)- Aviante Collins, OT, TCU
TCU’s Aviante Collins is one of those developmental offensive linemen I mentioned in the previous slide. He’s a terrific athlete who also plays with solid technique. Collins needs to add some strength, but he has the potential to be a starting left tackle in the league.
FanSided
There aren’t many prospects that feature his combination of size, quickness and solid tape. Adding strength shouldn’t be a problem thanks to the top-notch training facilities in the NFL.
Collins would be a perfect player to have work behind Charles Leno Jr. and Bobby Massie.
4th Round (No. 117 via Buf)- Chad Hansen, WR, California
Chad Hansen is a bigger target who has excellent straight-line speed. He burst onto the scene this past year showing the ability to stretch the field. His speed and big-play ability is exactly what the Bears offense was missing this past year.
The problem is that Hansen isn’t a finished product and needs time to develop. He lacks the experience running pro-style routes to make an immediate contribution. Hansen will need to learn how to operate outside California’s spread attack.
However, he could earn a role on special teams and see snaps on offense as a deep threat.
