187. Ben Boulware, LB Clem 6th round pick 1, Clemson

Cleveland missed on Securing Scooby Wright, a player that they loved last season. They invested money at middle linebacker this last season with the addition of Demario Davis and Jamie Collins, it may not be a player of need, but Boulware can be a game changer.

Boulware is undersized and under athletic. Really, the only elite tool he has is heart, which is one thing that Greg Williams covets the most. The Browns are a team that are starving for leadership and desperate to bring in players that can change the culture and turn around a franchise that has been picking high in the draft for quite some time. If last years draft is any indication, the Browns are looking to take overcomers who are poised to fill out the heart of the franchise. Boulware will push the players in front of him and challenge the players that he has passed up.

Showing his ability to run the team on the field will make up for Boulware’s deficiency. Boulware could be an impact on special teams, with a team that is desperate for a gunner. He may be a stretch here, but Boulware is a player I think the Browns will love.
