2017 NFL Mock Draft: Cleveland Browns Get it Right
They have a ferocious front-seven and solid Ss in Rodney McLeod and Malcolm Jenkins. Once the CB positions are shored up, the Eagles will have a defense that shuts teams down. Otherwise, it’s hard to deal with a division that has Dez Bryant, Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall in it.
On offense, they have Carson Wentz, a solid line and brought WRs Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith in free agency. Giving Wentz a solid running game to go into Year 2 with will help him even more in 2017. Look for the Eagles to be a much tougher out in an NFC East that’s getting tough.

Gareon Conley
CB, Ohio State
With the No. 14 overall pick in the draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select former Ohio State CB Gareon Conley. At 6’0″, 195 pounds with 33-inch long arms, he has the size and length required for press coverage. Conley got picked on on the other side of Lattimore only to allow a 37 percent completion rate himself.
That’s actually how he got noticed as he scouts were looking to see what Lattimore did. He’s hard to throw on because he’s versatile with the instincts and ability drive on the ball to play zone too. So Conley will fit a tough Eagles defense that only has weaknesses at the CB position.
