2017 NFL Mock Draft: Cleveland Browns Get it Right
So you can call Cook a bell-cow that doesn’t have to leave the field for a given situation or package. Cook is also scheme-versatile, able to excel in the power scheme and the zone scheme. HC Dirk Koetter and QB Jameis Winston could use a player like Cook, who played with Winston at Florida State.
After his drug suspension, I don’t think RB Doug Martin will be with the Buccaneers much longer. The defense started to come around last year and should continue to rise this year. So adding Cook to an offense with WRs Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson would take the Buccaneers to the playoffs.

Dalvin Cook
RB, Florida State
With the No. 19 overall pick in the draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select former Florida State RB Dalvin Cook. Dalvin Cook is the best and most skilled RB coming out in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has great vision and patience at the line and in the open field, he’ll make a defender look stupid.
And as he confirmed at his Pro Day with a 4.44 40, he has the speed to hit the home run. At 5’10”, 210, he has decent size and his determination gets it done in short yardage situations. Cook has some work to do against blitzers in pass protection but he’s a receiving weapon in the passing game.
