With the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, the Chicago Bears take former Alabama DE Jonathan Allen. A lot of people are still saying that Jamal Adams or a CB will be the pick here. But they picked up CB Prince Amukamara and S Quintin Demps in free agency.
If the Bears feel like they need another CB, they can get one later as deep as this class is in them. That gives the Bears a chance to make their defensive front-seven dominant. Allen doesn’t have the length you generally want for a 2-gap, 3-4 end but he wins with his hands.

He has club-moves, rip-moves and will just plain slap your hands down to make plays. Allen will be a great interior pass-rusher on third down when lined up as a 3-technique too. When Allen takes one of the DE spots, there will be no weakness on their front-seven.

With RB Jordan Howard, the Bears plan to win by running the ball and having a great defense. And the Bears are giving QB Mike Glennon a chance to see what he can do in a starting role. If it works out, the NFC North will have a hard time beating the Bears.
. DE. Alabama.
