Defensively: 27th Yds/G, 31st PPG

Team Needs: TE, LG, DL, LB, CB

Again, I am a firm believer that your defensive backs are only as good as your front 7. The Saints were dead last in passing defense and in the bottom ten in sacks. The two categories are directly correlated. Take the best player here with the highest immediate impact.

New Orleans has another pick at the end of round 1. The Saints can then focus on the defensive back position in that slot being that there should be some talented playmakers left on the board.
