Last Chance 2017 NFL Mock Draft
By Bob Stumpe
12. Cleveland Browns- Clemson QB DeShaun Watson
Offensively: 30th Yds/G, 31st PPG
Defensively: 31st Yds/G, 30th PPG
Team Needs: QB, WR, RT, DE, MLB, OLB, CB, S
Cleveland’s patience pays off! I know they like Trubisky in this draft but personally, I think Watson is the best the draft has to offer at the position. Browns fans now have something to be really excited about!
With the additions of JC Tretter and Kevin Zeitler this offseason, Cleveland has one of the better offensive lines in the league. Mix that with a solid young running back that did a lot with a little last season averaging 4.8 yards per carry and you have yourself a nice recipe to control the clock.
Letting Terrell Pryor walk for next to nothing stings a bit but if the Browns plans are to address that position with someone that’s in the early part of the round two then all the more power to them! There should be excitement in the air in Cleveland (something I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be saying).
NFL Comparison: Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott
