At 6’4″, 220 pounds, Josh Harvey-Clemons is a freak athlete, hybrid LB/S that’s slipping through the cracks. He was a 5-star talent out of high school and he’s a 1st-round talent right now. But his two failed drug tests that led to his dismissal from Georgia and transfer to Louisville haunt him.
And a hamstring injury from the season led to him, running his 40-yard dash in the 4.65-4.69 range. But on the field, where it matters most, he plays fast and has great coverage skills. At the same time he’s physical enough for his team to line him up at LB at times.

While some struggle to put a finger on exactly where he should play in the NFL, I say he’s a SS. That’s where Harvey-Clemons played in college and would match up with the big, athletic TEs in the NFL these days,. He could help the Raiders by covering Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce.

And that would allow 2016 1st-round pick Karl Joseph to move to free safety, where he’s more dynamic. Make no mistake about it, his failed marijuana is what has him projected this low. He’s not a developmental guy, he can come in and improve the Raiders defense immediately.
. S. Lousiville.
