7. player. 28. Let me start this one off by saying I believe Lynch will be a Raider for their extra 7th-round pick. So I have the Raiders with only one 7th-round pick in this mock draft instead of two. Here in Round 7, the Raiders get Jeremy Clark, the first player I would call a developmental player.

At 6’3″, 220 pounds with 33-inch long arms, Clark was made in the same mold as Smith. But he looks a little more versatile, able to play zone as opposed to being a bump-and-run machine. He also looks faster as Michigan has timed him in the 40 at 4.43 at one time.

Clark hasn’t healed enough yet from knee surgery so he was unable to see what his 40 is this offseason. He’s not projected higher is because of injuries, especially his torn ACL .against Penn State in 2016. He petitioned for a sixth year because of all the injuries he had but was denied.

So there he comes into the NFL fresh off of ACL surgery before his rookie year in the NFL. I’m not sure what his timetable is to be ready to play but he’ll redshirt this year anyway. Being a big CB like Smith, he could learn a lot from him until he is ready to play.
. CB. Michigan. Jeremy Clark
