Cornerback

I feel comfortable that as many as 17 cornerbacks in this draft are capable of quickly developing into effective starters. Marshon Lattimore sits atop this ranking based on his athletic profile, upside and play this past season.

He truly has all the skills and feel for the game to be a shutdown cornerback early in his career. I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s one of the first 3 players selected.

Tre’Davious White is someone who is getting overlooked and has the potential to be the best cornerback in the group. He has the size, experience, quickness and ball skills needed to be a high-level performer.

Sidney Jones was my top rated cornerback for most of the year. That would still be the case if he hadn’t injured himself at his pro-day workout. He should still be a 2nd round pick and will represent great value when he does come off the board.
