This is an updated look at my 2017 NFL Draft Big Board that shows the best players available as we enter the 2nd day of the draft.

There’s plenty of talent available for the 2nd day of the 2017 NFL Draft. Below is a look at the best players available on my Big Board.

1. Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida

Original Big-Board Rank: 15

Wilson is a long and athletic cornerback who is still developing as a player. His size-speed combination gives him a chance to develop into a lock-down cornerback. He has some kinks to work out, but he’s capable of contributing from day one.

2. Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson

Original Big-Board Rank: 16

Tankersley is a big-bodied cornerback who features tremendous ball skills. His experience in big-game situations will help him transition to the NFL.

3. Carl Lawson, Edge, Auburn

Original Big-Board Rank: 20

  • Lawson’s draft stock was hurt by his injury history, but when healthy he’s a force off the edge. He has a good initial burst and the balance to flatten around the corner.

    4. Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama

    Original Big-Board Rank: 24

Robinson is a 1st round talent and I’m really surprised to see that he slipped to the 2nd round. He has his warts, but based on raw talent he has a chance to be an elite left tackle.

    5. Zach Cunningham, LB, Vanderbilt

    Original Big-Board Rank: 26

Cunningham is a tremendous athlete who has the ability to make plays from sideline to sideline. He needs to refine his technique and trust his reads, but this is a kid who can make a major impact early in his career.

    6. D’Onta Foreman, RB, Texas

    Original Big-Board Rank: 28

I love Foreman’s combination of size and speed. He’s someone who can work between the tackles and break off some long runs. Foreman shows solid hands and could develop as a pass catcher as his career progresses.

    7. Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State

    Original Big-Board Rank: 29

Cook’s off-field and injury concerns are the reason he’s still available in the 2nd round. However, he’s more of a big-play guy than an every-down producer.

    8. Tim Williams, Edge, Alabama

    Original Big-Board Rank: 30

Williams is a very accomplished pass rusher who pairs excellent snap timing with an initial burst. He needs to show he can be an every-down player, but even as a situational pass rusher he has value in the 2nd round.

    9. Jalen Tabor, CB, Florida

    Original Big-Board Rank: 31

I understand why there’s such a concern surrounding Tabor’s poor Combine performance, but this kid is a football player. He has a great feel for the game and his ability to create turnovers is extremely valuable.

    10. Pat Elflein, C/G, Ohio State

    Original Big-Board Rank: 32

Elflein is a plug-and-play prospect who can make an immediate impact. His experience at both center and guard also makes him a versatile player.
