2017 NFL Draft Big Board: Best Players Available on Day Two
By Jon Dove
41. Howard Wilson, CB, Houston
Original Big-Board Rank: 67
Wilson is a playmaker at the cornerback position who knows how to jump routes. He does a good job reading the quarterback and using his short-area burst to get in front of the pass. Wilson is also a threat to score once he gets his hands on the football.
42. Cam Sutton, CB, Tennessee
Original Big-Board Rank: 69
Sutton is a little undersized but he’s a terrific cover corner. He’s likely looking at a career working in the slot, but those type of players have become extremely valuable.
43. Isaac Asiata, G, Utah
Original Big-Board Rank: 70

Asiata is a nasty and powerful offensive lineman. He’s someone who loves to move people off the line of scrimmage. This is a guard only prospect which could limit what teams consider him on day-two of the draft.
44. Carlos Henderson, WR, La Tech
Original Big-Board Rank: 73
Henderson is a dynamic playmaker who is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He’s someone who can take an underneath pass and take it to the house.
45. DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame
Original Big-Board Rank: 74
Kizer has the prototypical size and arm strength for the position. However, he regressed this past year and has a lot of development ahead of him.
46. Josh Malone, WR, Tennessee
Original Big-Board Rank: 75
Malone is just scratching the surface of his potential. He has the size and burst to be a big-play threat. However, he also shows the ability to run clean routes and could become a well-rounded receiver.
47. Rasul Douglas, CB, Virginia
Original Big-Board Rank: 76
Douglas is a physical cornerback who has a knack for dislodging the ball from the receiver. He loves to deliver big hits and doesn’t hesitate to support run. Douglas is also a solid cover guy who uses his size to his advantage.
48. Desmond King, CB, Iowa
Original Big-Board Rank: 77
King is a savvy and experience defensive back. He’s not a great athlete which means he will need to rely on his instincts and technique to be successful. It’s possible he could make a move to safety in the NFL.
49. Donnel Pumphrey, RB, San Diego State
Original Big-Board Rank: 79
Pumphrey is a change of pace back who knows how to produce big-plays. His lack of size means it’s unlikely he can handle a lot of carries, but it’s easy to see him in a Darren Sproles-type role.
50. Deatrich Wise Jr, Edge, Arkansas
Original Big-Board Rank: 80
Wise is a long and athletic edge defender who is still developing. He will benefit from the improved coaching at the NFL level.
