The Browns rule the draft with three picks in the first round

With the 29th pick of the draft the Browns set themselves up to with a elite talent for years to come. David Njoku was a player that many thought would go in the top 20 fell to the late first round and the Browns pounced.

With the Browns choosing not to gamble on a quarterback early on in this draft, Cody Kessler will need all the weapons he can get to succeed. Njoku provides a strong dominate player that can play up on the line or spread out at the reciever position. He has a large catch radius and will win on most 50-50 balls. He has better than average speed and runs clean routes.

Most scouts have stated that he needs a lot of work. He is a below average blocker. Cleveland had spent a lot of money on the line so a blocking tight end isn’t important but they will need him to develop in that area. Njoku also will need to work on discipline against professional corners. Njoku tends to try to overpower corners. He will need to work on his ability to work against them at the pro level. David will also need to work on concentration of his catches, He dropped way to many balls last season. He will have great coaching in Cleveland, working with legendary coach Al Saunders and Greg Seamon.

Njoku is a big strong player that the fans in Cleveland will love. His ceiling is on the other side of the moon. He gives them an elite player for years to come.
