56. HC Marvin Lewis is up against the wall now that the Cincinnati Bengals missed the playoffs in 2016. Their defense declined along with the play of aging MLB Rey Maualuga, who they released this offseason. So they majorly upgraded the position in free agency with a still-in-his-prime Kevin MInter. <p>The Bengals also went into the draft needing only an edge rusher on defense and some firepower on offense. It was easier for teams to gameplan for A.J. Green without WRs Marin Jones and Mohamed Sanu last year. They’re not happy with RB Jeremy Hill either so in the second round they picked RB Joe Mixon. The Bengals also need help rushing the passer on defense so they took DE Jordan Willis in the third round. Another name to stay on the look-out for is DE Carl Lawson, a great prospect that had injury issues.

He came in the fourth round along with WR Josh Malone, another speedster that can stretch the field. DT Ryan Glasgow, who also came in the fourth round, will crack the D-line rotation and everyone else looks like depth. The Bengals will compete for the AFC North title in 2016 and possibly save Lewis’ job.
