denver broncos. 20. team. 45. The Denver Broncos are already great on defense but this is a good draft of them too. While all the defensive players are getting picked this is the year, they can get a left tackle. Potential franchise left OTs don’t make it all the way to No. 20 overall very often.
But since there are so many great defensive prospects and Garett Bolles’ lack of experience, he went No. 20 overall. However, Bolles has all the size, strength, length and athleticism to get it done. In Round 2, the Broncos take DE and college sack master DeMarcus Walker.

Walker will end up taking one of those D-line spots left by Malik Jackson last year. In Round 3, the Broncos took WR Carlos Henderson, a guy from a smaller school named Louisiana Tech. With his short-area quickness and burst, he will end up being the Broncos slot-WR.

The rest of this draft looks like depth but watch out for fifth-round TE Jake Butt when he gets healthy. Getting Bolles will set the Broncos up to have much better pass protection in 2017 for QB Trevor Siemian. That will make the Broncos will be tough to beat and crowd the top of the AFC West.
. — A.
