team. 50. The Detroit Lions went into the draft with a good offense as Matthew stafford is playing his best football. They just need to do something about that defense to stop Aaron Rodgers from pulling it out on them. They start with ILB Jarrad Davis to replace Stephen Tulloch who just retired this offseason.
Davis is extremely physical, a regulator in the middle, hitting anything that comes his way in a different uniform. He struggled in coverage in college but he is a great athlete so he can work at it and get better. In Round 2, the Lions picked CB Teeze Tabor, who’s much better than many think.

After playing so well in college, his draft stock plummeted after running a subpar 40 with a strained hamstring. In Round 3, the Lions took WR Kenny Golladay, a big WR at 6’4″, 218 pounds. Golden Tate is 5’10” while Marvin Jones is 6’2″ so the Lions can use a big WR for the red zone.

The rest of the Lions’ draft looks like depth as they came out of it with a much better defense. Call me crazy but with this haul plus what they already have, the Lions have a shot to win the NFC North. It looks like the division will be a two-team race between the Lions and the Green Bay Packers.
. — A. . detroit lions. 21
