. dallas cowboys. 28. team. 123. The Dallas Cowboys are another team that enjoyed this defensive draft while loaded on offense. In in the first round, they started with DE Taco Charlton so they can finally put heat on the QB. He was one of the most productive DEs in college in 2016 and figures to make an immediate impact.
In Round 2, the Cowboys took CB Chidobe Awuzie to help rebuild at the position after losing so many. Awuzie is a good value for the Cowboys at the end of the second round and will start immediately too. In round three, the Cowboys get themselves another good pick in CB Jourdan Lewis.

Lewis is one of those smaller, quicker, more agile CBs that can stay with the smaller, quicker slot-WRs. He was great at slot CB last year, allowing just 0.35 yards per coverage snap when lined up there. The rest of the players in this draft class for the Cowboys definitely looks like depth.

The Cowboys got better with a good haul here but I’m not sure it was enough to win the division. The NFC East is becoming one of the toughest divisions in football with what’s happened this offseason. The Giants are looking more like the team to beat than anyone in the NFC East right now.
. — A
