. green bay packers. 29. team. 49. The 2017 NFL Draft was definitely the place to be for the Green Bay Packers this year. They went into the draft with Aaron Rodgers and their high powered offense along with a bad defense. CB was a big problem for the Packers and this draft was very deep at that position.
So in Round 1, the Packers took 6’3″, 200- pound, 32-inch-long-armed CB Kevin King. King is today’s tall, long, press-CB that also has athleticism to go with it, running a 4.43 40. In the second round, the Packers picked S Josh Jones, who also has the skills to play CB.
<div class=. — A

It will be interesting to see what the Packers do with him with Morgan Burnett there. One of those guys have to be moving to CB as big of a need as there is in Green Bay. In Round 3 the Packers took DL Montravius Adams a talented player that could start.

Adams is a quick, high-effort player that’s versatile, having played 0, 3 and 5 technique. The rest of this draft class looks like depth for the Packers, who came out of this draft well. The NFC North is getting tough with the Lions out there but the Packers are the favorites.
