— A+. . New England Patriots. 32. team. 47. With all the defensive talent in this draft, you already know the New England Patriots want in on it. They already have a great offense with QB Tom Brady putting points on the board when he wants to. The Patriots traded their first-round pick to the Saints for WR Brandin Cooks.
It should be illegal for Cooks to play with Brady but he’s already on the team to catch his passes. The Patriots also traded for for DE Kony Ealy and TE Dwayne Allen so they didn’t have a second-round pick either. Their first pick was in the third round and with it, they took DE Derek Rivers.

Rivers knows how to get to the QB so mastermind Bill Belichick will find a way to use his ability. With Rob NInkovich and now Kony Ealy over there, Rivers will likely rush the passer in a rotation. With their second third round pick, the Patriots selected OT Antonio Garcia.

Belichick likes to have a player’s replacement on the team before the player is done playing. So Garcia will likely be developed behind current starting left OT Nate Solder. The rest of their draft is depth as the Cooks trade has the Patriots ready for another Super Bowl .
