I’m tired of loving what the Jacksonville Jaguars do every offseason and watching them lose. This has to be the year because they added to a defense that was already solid in 2016. So taking RB Leonard Fournette at No. 4 overall gives them a physical, run-the-ball-and-play-defense identity.
QB Blake Bortles needs to reset and not try to do too much to win games in 2017. Most great QBs learn how to manage the game first then start to sling it around as they mature. In the second round, the Jaguars selected Cam Robinson, a 6’6′”, 322-pound road grader, to further cement that identity.
<div class=. — A. . jacksonville jaguars. 4. team. 52

Branden Albert is AWOL right now so we will soon see if Robinson will play left or right OT. Third-rounder Dawuane Smoot will give the D-line depth and fourth-rounder Dede Westbrook will give the WR corps some speed. That’s a good thing to have when safeties start to crowd the line of scrimmage.

Everyone else looks like depth but you should all watch out for CB Jalen Myrick, who runs a 4.28 40. If he learns how to play the game, he’s going to be something for the Jaguars in the future. But the Jaguars already have enough to win so new HC Doug Marrone has to get things going over there.
