51. This offseason was and should have been all about 2016 first-round QB Jared Goff. It was hard to tell how ready he was last year because he had nothing around him. I like WR Tavon Austin and RB Todd Gurley but without an O-line, they do no one any good.

So they fixed that O-line in free agency and in the second round, they picked TE Gerald Everett. At 6’3″, 240 pounds, he has the speed to make himself a matchup nightmare. TEs like that are always a good security blanket for a young QB to have.

Then in the third round, the Rams selected Cooper Kupp a nice possession WR to move the chains. The Rams traded up to get another pick in the third round and it was S John Johnson. He has experience at CB and covering the slot so we’ll see what happens here.

Everyone else looks like depth to me be the Los Angeles Rams got Goff that much-needed help on offense. I’m looking for Gurley to help him out much more with the offensive line being what it is now. The defense is still solid too so a jump to Year 2 from Goff would drastically improve the Rams.
. — B. . los angeles rams. 5. team
