. new york jets. 6. team. 30. It was bombs over Baghdad in the New York Jets’ secondary in 2016 so it looks like they’re overhauling it. CB Darrelle Revis, who doesn’t look like the shutdown CB of the NFL anymore, was cut. A couple of weeks later, the jets brought in Morris Claiborne and signed him for one year.
And from what I can see from this draft, it looks like the Jets don’t like their Ss anymore either. In the first two rounds the Jets drafted Ss, starting with Jamal Adams in Round 1. He’s a top-5 talent all the way so the Jets were wise not to let him get past them.

In the second round, they took Marcus Maye, another great S prospect, so they can both start. Adams is a do-it-all S, from single-high to in the box to covering the slot to out on the island. . May is more of an in-the-box S but he can also do a little bit of everything.

With all the blitzing the Jets do, they need Ss that can do a little of everything, especially cover. Third-round pick ArDarius Stewart is a good run-after-the-catch WR and the rest look like depth. With QB Christian Hackenberg coming off a redshirt year, this looks like rebuilding year for the Jets.
. — A
