30. Chicago Bears

Key Additions: Mike Glennon, Marcus Wheaton, Kendall Wright, Prince Amukamara, Marcus Cooper, Quintin Demps, Dion Sims, Mitch Trubisky, Adam Shaheen and Eddie Jackson

Key Losses: Alshon Jeffery, Jay Cutler

The Chicago Bears had a busy but very confusing offseason. They seemly struck out on all their top free agent targets and had to settle for veterans who have their issues. Chicago’s biggest singing was quarterback Mike Glennon which was then trumped by drafting Mitch Trubisky.

General Manager Ryan Pace appears a little confused on whether he’s building a contender or going through a complete rebuild.

Chicago’s draft lacked NFL-ready talent with project picks like Trubisky and Adam Shaheen. However, their free agent signings included paying a steep price for the 32-year old Quintin Demps.

The Bears appear like an extreme boom or bust team. They could find success if the offensive line stays healthy, Glennon plays well and the defensive front dominates. Things could get ugly early if Glennon struggles and everyone starts clamoring for Trubisky to take the field before he’s ready.

We are looking at a roster that could potentially top out at 9 wins or land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
