  • No, 49ers won't fire Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch for Trey Lance debacle Niner Noise
  • The San Francisco 49ers are incomplete rebuild mold and the franchise isn’t shy about that fact. Kyle Shannahan and John Lynch know this team needs a lot of work, but they got these started off on the right foot this offseason.

San Francisco made some smart decisions by adding great locker room guys in free agency and getting the most out of the draft.

Pierre Garcon, Brian Hoyer and Kyle Juszczyk aren’t standout additions but all three will help the younger players on the roster. Garcon and Hoyer will be especially important when the 49ers finally add their quarterback of the future.

It’ll be fun to watch San Francisco’s young defense operation. The defensive line is loaded with young talent like Solomon Thomas, DeForest Buckner and Arik Armstead. At linebacker they have the veteran NaVorro Bowman and the rookie Reuben Foster.

The secondary has intriguing youngsters like Dontae Johnson, Rashard Robinson, Ahkello Withersppon and Jaquiski Tartt.

Wins and losses shouldn’t be the focus of this team as developing their young stars should be the priority.
