The Buffalo Bills made some draft-day trades that helped them add some major impact talent during the 2017 NFL Draft and beyond.

It came as a major surprise when the Buffalo Bills orchestrated a draft-day trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. This trade allowed the Chiefs to grab quarterback Patrick Mahomes with the Bills landing extra 2017 NFL Draft picks and a 2018 1st rounder.

The trade should be considered a win for the Bills who were able to add some depth at key positions. It also have them enough ammo to make future trades and head into the 2018 draft with two 1st round picks.

However, this was a team thought to be looking at adding a quarterback through the draft. They passed on arguably the most talented of the group when they traded their pick to the Chiefs. It’s one of those scenarios where the Bills will get a black eye of Mahomes develops into a superstar.
