Depth Chart Impact

The Buffalo Bills added as many as three day-one starters in the 2017 NFL Draft. Their 1st round pick, Tre’Davious White, should immediately slot in opposite Ronald Darby at one of the cornerback positions.

White comes to Buffalo with tons of college experience and production. He made major improvements during each of his seasons at LSU.

Zay Jones has an open path to a starting wide receiver job with Robert Woods with the Los Angeles Rams. Jones is a bigger target who also has the speed to stretch the field. He’ll be a nice complement to the oft-injured Sammy Watkins.

In-fact, another Watkins injury would mean Jones stepping into the No. 1 receiver role early in his rookie season.

Dion Dawkins has enough talent to quickly grab a starting job along the offensive line. His versatility will also help as he could fit at either right tackle or guard. The Bills made a trade into the 2nd round so they could land his services.

It’s rare to see a team make such an aggressive move if they don’t see an immediate fit for a player. Dawkins is already more talented than Cyrus Kouandjio who’s the projected starter heading into OTAs.
