The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used this offseason to add some significant pieces to the roster with the hopes of reaching playoffs next season.

Things are looking up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who appear on the verge of becoming major contenders. It starts with quarterback Jameis Winston, but the organization has really stepped up their effort to surround him with talent.

Tampa Bay found some top-end talent with O.J. Howard and Chris Godwin. Howard is a well-rounded tight end who will give Winston a big target and help in the running game. Godwin will serve as a replacement for Vincent Jackson.

We shouldn’t forget that the Buccaneers also added the explosive DeSean Jackson via free agency. This offense is ready to explode and put up some big numbers.

The Buccaneers also added some key defensive pieces in the 2017 NFL Draft. Look for Kendell Beckwith, Justin Evans and Stevie Tu’Ikolovatu to see action early in their rookie seasons.

2nd Round- Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M

3rd Round- Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State

3rd Round- Kendell Beckwith, LB, LSU

5th Round- Jeremy McNichols, RB, Boise State

7th Round- Stevie Tu’Ikolovatu, DT, USC
