It’s pretty easy to look at Tampa Bay’s draft and feel great about their moves. They added a top-10 talent in O.J. Howard, got a steal with Chris Godwin and potential found their starting inside linebacker with Kendell Beckwith.

Howard is going to be a true difference maker. He gives Jameis Winston another pass-catching threat who can attack the seam. His ability as a run blocker will also help make the offense run more efficiently.

Tampa Bay has some really dangerous weapons with Howard, Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Cameron Brate and Chris Godwin. Opposing defenses will have a tough time avoiding mismatches.

Kendell Beckwith fell further than I expected due to a mid-season injury. However, he’s a thumper who has a knack for finding the football. His addition will bring some physicality to Tampa Bay’s linebacker corps.

I’m not a huge fan of Jeremy McNichols but he does have his supporters. He’s a versatile running back who can also help in the passing game. His roster spot may depend on his ability to contribute on special teams.

The addition of Stevie Tu’Ikolovatu was an underrated move and will instantly help Tampa Bay’s run defense. Overall, this is an impressive draft class that should have short and long-term benefits.
