Washington Redskins biggest Strengths on Offense:

The Redskins biggest strength is their passing game.  Even though the Redskins lost their top two wide receivers in DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, their passing should still be the strongest part of the team.

Kirk Cousins has risen to become a top ten NFL quarterback.  Another big season is probable for Cousins.  The Washington Redskins still have one of the top tight end tandems in the NFL in Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis.

At 33, Vernon Davis still has some fuel left in his tank as last season proved with 44 receptions for 583 yards and 2 TD’s.  Jordan Reed is one of the toughest covers in league.  The Redskins need him to stay healthy for as many games as possible.

In four seasons, Reed has yet to make it through an entire sixteen game season.  Even with the loss of Garcon and Jackson, the Washington Redskins signed one of the top free agent wide receivers on the market in Terrelle Pryor.

Pryor had a breakout season in 2016 with the Cleveland Browns and signed a one-year prove it deal with the Redskins.  They also have their first round pick from last year in Josh Doctson.  Doctson missed most of last season with an Achilles injury but is healthy now.

Both Pryor and Doctson have great size and speed and while neither is the deep threat that DeSean Jackson is but they can get deep.  In the slot is Jamison Crowder who had a great second season and his role should increase this year.

Kirk Cousins will make this work.  He’s in his fourth season in the offense and with more experience, Cousins should improve.  There are also strengths on the Washington Redskins offensive line.

Tackles Trent Williams and Morgan Moses are becoming a nice set of bookends.  Right guard Brandon Scherff is improving too.  Ar running back, Chris Thompson is one of the best receivers out of the backfield in the league.
