2018 NFL Mock Draft: Opening Weekend Edition

8. Baltimore Ravens- Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M
The Baltimore Ravens strike me as a team where the bottom is about to fall out. A lot of their former stars are showing their age or have since moved on. This is a roster that just doesn’t have a lot of elite talent.
Joe Flacco is the one player that figures to be around for awhile. He’s signed to a big-money deal and is still a solid quarterback. However, the Ravens need to surround him with better and more reliable weapons.

His best attribute has long been his ability to deliver a pretty deep ball. Chrisitan Kirk has the speed and awareness to make the most of Flacco’s arm strength.
However, Kirk is also an elite route runner who has a knack for creating separation. He’s a reliable pass catcher who routinely pucks the ball away from his frame. Kirk’s top-end speed and shiftiness make him very dangerous in space.
The Ravens could also target one of the top rated running backs in this class. A lot of their past success can be tied to having a strong running game. They should run to the podium if either Saquon Barkley or Derrius Guice are on the board.
