Week one of the 2017 NFL season has arrived and we begin by counting down all 32 teams. Here are the NFL power rankings to get the season started.

team. 30. The New York Jets start out at number 32 in the NFL Power Rankings. Head coach Todd Bowles looks to have had his legs cut out from under him and may be a lame duck. The Jets traded away some of their best players and appear to be trying to position themselves to take one of the top quarterbacks in the 2018 draft. They still have some good players on defense like Muhammad Wilkerson and Leonard Williams but an injury to either one will be disastrous to the defense as there isn’t much depth. However, it’s on the offensive side of the ball where they are almost completely devoid of talent. Josh McCown is the starting quarterback but there’s not much for him to throw the ball to. Matt Forte is still a decent running back but his days as an NFL starter may be numbered. So McCown won’t be able to depend on the running game. An there’s no other options behind McCown if he fails as the starter. It’s going to be a long season for the New York Jets.. . . New York Jets. 32

The Cleveland Browns debut in the NFL Power Rankings at number 31. They are going with a youth movement in 2017 and they’ve have named rookie second round pick Deshone Kizer as the starting quarterback. He’s had some moments in the preseason but he will surely struggle initially once the season begins. The Browns will need to rely on their running game featuring Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson to try to take the pressure off Kizer. They will look to the number one pick in the draft,Myles Garrett to help improve the defense. The Browns have potential but for now the Browns are among the worst teams in the NFL.. . .
