Quarterback Alex Smith had an outstanding game and the offense discovered a new star in rookie running back Kareem Hunt. Tyreek Hill’s skills as a receiver have improved and the offensive line opened holes for the running game all night. However, the defense lost it’s leader in safety Eric Berry to an Achilles injury and that is a huge blow.
