CLEVELAND, OH – NOVEMBER 27: Odell Beckham /

31. The New York Giants returned to the playoffs last season and have made moves this year to ensure that that trend continues. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was injured in the preseason and his availability in week one is up in the air. However, the Giants have continued to add weapons on offense around quarterback Eli Manning. Receiver Brandon Marshall was signed as a free agent and the Giants drafted tight end Evan Engram. So the Giants passing game will be potent again but the running game is a question mark. Defensively, there is a lot of talent on hand and the Giants will rank in the top ten of the league again in 2017. The question is have they done enough to catch the Dallas Cowboys.. . . New York Giants. 6. team

. . Dallas Cowboys. 5. team. 123. The Dallas Cowboys will be without running back Ezekiel Elliot for six games this season due to suspension. However, Elliot will play week one against the New York Giants. While the loss of Elliot is huge, the Cowboys still have the best offensive line in football and the running game will still be good until Elliot returns. The Cowboys also have what I believe is the best quarterback in the NFC East in Dak Prescott. This gives the Cowboys the edge in the division. There are questions surrounding the Cowboys defense, in particular their secondary. But I think they’ll be good enough for the Cowboys to contend for the NFC East title.
