52. The Jacksonville Jaguars land at number 28 in the NFL Power Rankings. They have a new head coach in Doug Marrone and they play in a division in the AFC South where there’s good teams but no clear front runner. This gives the Jaguars a chance to improve over their 2016 version. Marrone has a good defense to work with, but first they need quarterback Blake Bortles to have his best season by taking care of the football and show the kind of leadership required of a franchise QB.. . . Jacksonville Jaguars. 28. team

. Los Angeles Rams. 27. team. 51. Another new coach on a lower ranked team here in Sean McVay for the Los Angeles Rams. McVay, the youngest head coach in the league at 30, has proven as offensive coordinator with the Washington Redskins that he knows how to produce a high-powered offense. He helped develop Kirk Cousins into a prolific quarterback and now he will be asked to do the same with Jared Goff. There is talent to work with on both sides of the ball. Goff will have Todd Gurley at running back and the Rams traded for receiver Sammy Watkins as well. On defense, Wade Phillips is the new coordinator so the Rams defense will continue to be a good one. If Aaron Donald ends his holdout then it will be even better..
