NFL Picks – Seahawks at Packers
Heckuva matchup here with two Super Bowl winning quarterbacks facing off in Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers and Seattle’s Russell Wilson. These are two teams that will be in the thick of the playoff hunt all season. Which makes this game a big one.
The Seahawks have a healthy Russell Wilson and will look to get their running game going against the Packers defense. Former Packers running back Eddie Lacy will be featured in this game by the Seahawks and he’ll be running hard against his old team.
Aaron Rodgers wants to get the Packers off to a fast start but the Seahawks defense is a tough matchup for Packers because their running game needs to step up too. While the Packers have the home field advantage, I think the Seahawks will take this one on the road.

NFL Picks – Panthers at 49ers
The big stories here are the début of San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan as he tries to install his offense against the Carolina Panthers. As the former offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons, Shanahan has experience facing the Panthers defense twice a year in the NFC South.
The other big story is Cam Newton enters the season healthy after struggling all of last season banged up with injuries. We also get to see how Newton looks throwing the ball after recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
I look for the Panthers defense to play at a high level in this game. Also, healthy is Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly and he’s one of the league’s best. I do think the 49ers offense will move the ball but they don’t have the weapons to outscore the Panthers.
