The first week of the NFL season is in the books and we now have a better feel of each team’s talents. This also makes it possible to start projecting the 2018 NFL Draft Order.

In order to produce this projected 2018 NFL Draft Order, I used fellow With the First Pick Writer Maurice Barksdale’s Week 2 NFL Power Rankings. His rankings give a look at how he feels each team stacks up after week 1.

I’m sure there will be a lot of disagreements on how Maurice’s rankings shake out, but they seem pretty on point. The biggest take away I had from his rankings is that he didn’t overreact to some of the Week 1 surprises.

As far as this article is concerned, his rankings give us a chance to take a look where each team could be picking in the 2018 NFL Draft.

This projected draft order will next be used in my updated 2018 NFL Mock Draft. Even the slightest change from last week’s projected order will have an impact on how my latest mock comes together.

Be sure to check back next week for another update to the protected draft order. It will again be based on Maurice’s latest NFL Power Rankings.
