As we head into Week 2 of the NFL season the strengths and weaknesses of each team become more apparent. This played a major role in developing this 2018 NFL Mock Draft.
The first thing I like to point out for every one of my 2018 NFL Mock Draft is that the draft order isn’t overly important. It’s something that will change every week based on each team’s performance.
Typically, I use an updated NFL Power Ranking from my teammate Maurice Barksdale to develop the order. Try to focus on the player each team landed rather than the order of the draft.

This year’s draft is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. However, the high-end talent at the quarterback is what makes this class special. This version of my 2018 NFL Mock Draft features quarterbacks coming off the board with the first 3 picks.
The likelihood of this happen increases each week as prospects like Wyoming’s Josh Allen, USC’s Sam Darnold and UCLA’s Josh Rosen perform at a high level.
This draft also has impact players at running back and wide receiver. Penn State’s Saquon Barkley may very well end up being the best player taken in this draft.
